Ok, I bought a Samsung Syncmaster P2770 to replace my dying Acer LCD display. This thing has a 1ms refresh, and 70000:1 dynamic contrast. Let's get down to the facts, as I tend to do in my blogs. It is freakin 27 inches diagonally. It's a monster; a slim bright monster. It holds my super cheap GE webcam very nicely... :)
The "Startlight Touch Controls" are button less, and pretty stylin'.
In all seriousness, there is no reason to not reccommend this monitor. I read some jokers on CNET complaining that they hooked up their brand new screen with some super cheap crappy cables and then were complaining. NO KIDDING. For the love of all that is halfway intelligent, please look into the specs and stop going to the dollar store to buy cables. You don't really have to buy the $100 pieces, but still, just think about it, or hook up your PC to it with the cables it came with... I like mine. They are pretty cheap on Amazon and at Costco right now.
I suppose I should note that if you have a little corner desk like I do at the moment, it may look a little goofy dwarfing the tiny desk, but you will have to ponder your situation.
If I have any issues, I will post them, but I doubt there will be any. Why no pictures? Because if you are really serious about buying one, you have probably Google searched it already. Here, I'll get you started.
